Emergency Shelters

If residents must evacuate their homes or apartments you should:

• Try to stay with relatives or friends
• Consider hotels or motels

We will have shelters available for those who need a place to stay for a short time.

SHELTER LOCATIONS:

          Chatham High School

    Lafayette Avenue

     Southern Boulevard School

    Southern Boulevard

    Corpus Christie Church

     Southern Boulevard

Advise local emergency management personnel if you need to stay in a shelter.  Do not go to a shelter location on your own, as it may not be opened.

Remember…..Shelter Procedures

      No Pets Allowed

      No Alcohol, Smoking, Firearms

     Bring Medication, Bedding, Clothing and Other Essentials (Baby food, Eye Glasses, Diet Needs)
