Crime Prevention Bureau
Crime Prevention is something in which we can all participate. The Chatham Township Police Department depends on its citizens to be the "Eyes and Ears" of our community.
Often citizens see or hear things that may be important to current investigations or pertain to a future crime or violation of the law. We ask that you report suspicious activity to us. It may not seem important at the time or it may turn out to be a legitimate activity. It could also be the means to stop a potential crime or add needed information to an ongoing investigation.
Protecting Your Home
The Chatham Township Police Department provides Home Security Survey's (free of charge) to it's residents. A trained Crime Prevention Officer will survey your residence and make recommendations on how to make it more secure.
